The Valextra & Changedesign collection contaminates the icons of the Valextra world – the classic Avietta, the Costa suitcase – with engineering solutions. The goal is to create beautiful object that are pleasant and easy to use. The Valextra luxury craft, thereafter, discovers materials and solutions that are not immediately its own, and organically includes them. Key points are the ultra-light steel framework, the telescopic driver made of anti-scratch aluminum and carbon fiber, and the addition – for the first time on the suitcase – the use of a shock-absorbing, light alloy wheels and a special tire created on purpose by Pirelli; the inside has been redesigned, too, and is now thermoformed, while the outside is made of a durable fabric with an incisive texture. A vision of luxury where clean lines and easiness of use create a new, dynamic balance.

In the five years at the head of the creative direction of the Brand Italia Independent, we have laid the foundations for a project that has introduced new processes such as the use of carbon or the velvet effect into the world of eyewear.
Among the collaborations carried out are Moncler, Hublot, Vans. The brand under our creative direction has reached the listing on the stock exchange.

From the collaboration with Valextra, expressed in a limited-edition laptop bag, a special Virus + project has been developed: a bicycle, a Techno-tailormade™ jacket and the aforementioned bag united into a capsule where working, dressing and moving follow the same plan. The unifying elements are materials, details and colors, with intense military green contrasted by the bright orange of linings as a trademark.

An expression of a total vision of design, one where an evolved stress on function links clothing, accessories and means of transportation, Changedesign links its values through the experimental collection Virus + and with the limited edition born from the collaboration with Valextra. Virus + contaminates the repertoire of urban menswear with the technology and performance factor of extreme sportswear. The result is technotailormade™: sports solutions applied onto tailored pieces. The process of contamination is irreversible: as the DNA of activewear and formalwear mingle, new clothing categories arise. The laptop bag, clean and neat in design, with taped internal pockets, is the core element of the whole project, which carries on with a Windproof jacket. The jacket has a double soul, pristine on the outside and technical on the inside, and is made of linen bonded with light knit; it sports industrial details such as the aluminum buttons and taped internal pockets that echo the lining of the bag. Such outfit is completed with the bicycle, which is characterized as well by the techno-sartorial morphing of materials and finishes. The language of the collection is transported into agonistic environment: textile details – such as the ribbon that covers the handlebar – are fused with hi-tech elements. Once again, technology and manual work cohabit.

To the Tattoo Suit it has been given the task to play the modern style for bikers. The materials research, through the laser-engraved sandwich of leathers, together with the wide use of Kevlar and titanium, give to the biker a very high level of protection, as well as an aesthetic plus. Tattoo Professional Bodysuit is the one that best represents the artistic attitude of Dainese. It comes adorned with tattoo-inspired motifs that totally reinforce both the danger and artfulness of racing. It looks absolutely pristine against the gorgeous black leather. Luca Ionescu, a well-known Australian artist, collaborates for the decorations design, which reminds Samurai adornments mixed with warriors Maori drawings, nearly symbolizing the armor that Dainese is giving under the leather, made up of certified composed protections and shoulder pads and elastic inserts that allow the fabric impressive dynamic qualities, stretching and accommodating all kinds of movements while clad on it. Excellent mechanical stress-tested and anti-abrasive performances are guaranteed from the usage of kangaroo leather on the laser treated areas, while a double layer of bovine leather ensures high protection on the more stressed areas.

Fiat stand in 2006 Bologna Motor Show hosted a pretty weird version of Fiat Panda, the renowned Italian city-car which is always beloved from everybody. As a matter of fact this car is very roomy and shows strong features as: steadiness, versatility and reliability. On the outside, the Panda Tanker maintains its usual shape, but the bodywork is a ‘naked’ satin-effect matte grey, with contrasting trims made of titanium fibre. The ‘naked’ concept continues inside where everything is extremely essential. The one-piece packing floor lets you load large objects or sports equipment, anchoring them with elastic straps mounted on a tubular aluminium structure that folds away completely. There are a number of containers fitted in the luggage compartment to hold oddments, materials and liquids.
